Nate Reinhardt, CPA, MBA

Nate Reinhardt has served as the Finance Director for the City of Shakopee, Minnesota since 2019. Prior to Shakopee, he served as the Finance Director for the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota and the City of Waseca, Minnesota. Prior to becoming a Finance Director, Nate worked as an Assistant Financial Services Director for Carver County, Minnesota and as an auditor for Abdo.

Nate has been actively involved in many roles with the Minnesota Government Finance Officers Association (MNGFOA), most recently serving as the 2023 president. He has been part of the leadership team of the MNGFOA mentorship program for the past eight years.

Nate has bachelor’s degree in accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato, a Master’s of Business Administration from Metropolitan State University, Saint Paul and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Minnesota.
