Rebecca Schnirman

Rebecca Schnirman serves as the Director of Financial and Support Services (FSS) at the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department, overseeing payroll, budgeting, revenue, business development, customer service, point of sale, purchasing, and financial support. With 21 years of service at Palm Beach County, Rebecca has held her current position for 13 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University, (Go Owls!). Rebecca attained her Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) Certification in 2016. An active member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), Florida Government Finance Officers Association (FGFOA), National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA), and Florida Recreation and Park Association (FRPA), she has been serving as an FGFOA Board Director since 2022 and is currently serving as the Vice President-Finance on FRPA’s Board.
