Jeran Scruggs

Jeran Scruggs has served as the Management Analyst for the City of Woodland Fire Department in Woodland, California since 2017. Beginning in 2012 as an Administrative Clerk, Jeran has over a decade of dedicated service to the fire department. During that time, she has honed her skills in municipal budgeting and gotten exposure to all aspects of the fire service. Throughout her tenure, Jeran has been the sole administrative support for the fire department, which has gained her experience in a wide array of tasks and responsibilities within the fire department, including serving as a trusted advisor to the Fire Chief and a key member of the fire department's executive team.

As the wife of a firefighter and a devoted mother to her young son, her firsthand experience as the spouse of a firefighter gives her unique insight into the challenges and demands of the profession, further enhancing her ability to provide informed guidance and support.
