Mike Secrest

Mike Secrest is currently the Digital Media Editor for the City of Arlington’s Office of Communication. Mike has been with Arlington since 2014, after spending 15 years in the news industry at a NBC affiliate in Roanoke, VA. Mike has a degree in communications from Virginia Tech. After graduating in 1999, Mike worked as a photojournalist and satellite truck operator, where he was on location for several national stories. Since joining the City of Arlington, Mike oversees the government cable channel, the city’s broadcast studio and video production for The American Dream City and has become a two-time Lone Star Emmy award winner for the City of Arlington’s FY2020 and FY2022 Budget Videos.
