Sherita Sims-Jones

Sherita Sims-Jones graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business and information Technology with a concentration in marketing from Macon State College and a master’s degree in project management from Keller Graduate School of Management. Her education and experience have contributed to a wealth of knowledge and growth in her financial career. She has over 15 years of Governmental experience and has worked with budget and grants for Macon-Bibb County Government almost 13 years. She has a diverse work background in various private sector industries creating insight for enhancement of organizational management. She is always eager to learn and loves to train and lead employees on best practices for their organization. She is a current standing Budget and Fiscal Policy committee member and budget book reviewer for Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). She is always happy to volunteer on various projects and enjoys knowing that she can somehow contribute to making other’s jobs easier.
