Michelle Tipton

Michelle Tipton is a seasoned professional with a decade of experience in budgeting within the realm of Florida’s state and local governments. Graduating with a master’s in public administration from Florida State University, Michelle has worked in a variety of fields spanning public transit, social services, and planning departments, but has spent the majority of her career within the budget office.

Since 2019, Michelle has worked for Leon County as a Senior Management and Budget Analyst and takes pride in revenue forecasting, vetting projects and purchases through their return on investment, and navigating special projects such as CARES funded programs and most recently a tornado relief program.

Outside of her passion for local government, Michelle enjoys spending time with family and travels every chance she gets.
