Jamie Verbrugge
CIty Manager, City of Bloomington, Minnesota
Jamie Verbrugge is the immediate past president of the Bloomington (MN) Noon Rotary Club and has been a Rotarian since 2013. In his professional capacity, Jamie is the city manager for the City of Bloomington MN (pop. 90,000). As chief administrative officer, the city manager oversees a staff of more than 650 employees and a total budget of nearly $200 million.
The City of Bloomington has a large and vibrant business community and is a hub for hospitality in the Twin Cities Region. Bloomington is home to Mall of America, one of the most visited attractions in the United States, and has more than 9,000 hotel rooms across the city. Bloomington is also the corporate headquarters for companies such as Dairy Queen International, Donaldson Company, HealthPartners, Holiday Stationstores, Schwan’s Consumer Brands North America Inc., SkyWater Technology, Thermo King, and Toro; as well as the North American headquarters of Germany-based SICK Sensors. Other major companies include Nath Companies, Onto Innovation, Polar Semiconductor, Quality Bike Products, and Seagate.

Verbrugge holds a master’s degree in public administration from Hamline University and a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from St. Cloud State University.
