Jessica Williams, MPA, CPFO

Jessica has nearly two decades of experience and possesses a wealth of state and local government accounting experience. Prior to joining the City of Denton, Jessica served as the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Wichita Falls, Texas. Prior to that, she held positions in Oregon and Washington states. Jessica holds a master’s degree in public administration from Portland State University, with undergraduate degrees from Central Washington University. She completed her Certified Public Finance Officer certification in 2016 and serves on the GFOA Debt Committee.

Jessica is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation and management of the City's financial operations and programs. She oversees the stewardship of City assets and the budgeting process. As the Chief Financial Officer, she oversees the City's Accounting, Budgeting, Procurement, Warehouse, Treasury, Investment and Debt Activities.
