1. Why did you want to become a CPFO? 

I wanted to become a CPFO to gain more knowledge in the accounting profession and to better understand the role I play as a controller at the Town of Davie.

2. What did you learn going through the process? 

Going through the process has taught me to be determined, not to be afraid to ask questions, and to network with my peers.

3. How has becoming a CPFO made an impact on you in your profession?  

I hope becoming a CPFO will assist me with knowledge of my job and to mentor others around me.

4. What would you say to others thinking about becoming a CPFO? 

I would encourage others to become a CPFO to expand their knowledge and to interact with other peers in the profession.
