Dauphin County Controller's Office is currently accepting applications for a full-time, day shift position of Audit Manager. Responsibilities of this position include managing staff auditors, planning financial audits, compliance audits and quality management reviews. Responsibilities also include ensuring audits performed are in compliance with Federal, State, and County rules and regulations and meet Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Salary is commensurate with experience.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in accounting, business administration or a related field. Accreditation as a Certified Public Accountant is a must; a minimum 2 to 4 years of auditing experience at a managerial level is preferred; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this position. Must have a working knowledge of Windows/Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access in addition to other software as needed. A favorable criminal background check is required.
