Iowa County, Wisconsin, located in Dodgeville, WI has an opening for a Finance Director, responsible for financial operations of the county to include administering the county budget, coordinating budget planning and fiscal policy development, and monitoring all financial reporting, including payroll and vendor payments of the County.
Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting or Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting; a minimum of four (4) years of professional auditing or accounting experience with a minimum of three (3) years of progressive supervisory experience. Registration as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred. Knowledge of laws, regulations and administrative rules governing financial management and accounting software systems is desired.
Salary for this exempt position will be based upon candidates’ qualifications, with a current range of $40.09/hr. - $41.20/hr. A generous comprehensive benefit package will be provided.
