This online networking event will include segments covering capital planning strategies and disaster preparedness. While we do not have enough time cover them all, the session will include discussion on some of the following questions:

• Capital Planning Strategies
  - Capital planning for resiliency
  - How do you approach your CIP? What goes in to prioritizing projects?
• Disaster Preparedness
  - What is the Finance Officer’s role during an emergency?
  What procedures do you have in place to ensure you recover the maximum allowed (i.e. forms, procurement policies, tracking)
  Emergency declaration?
  - What are you doing financially as it relates to disasters?
  Do you have a reserve policy or reserves to assist with recovery?
  - What about insurance – how do you recover even when the claims process is slow?
  Are you properly insured?
