The largest part of government budgets are typically personnel costs. Left unchecked, staffing levels can grow to unintended or unauthorized levels, leading to more employees than planned or budgeted. So how can you keep track of staffing levels and remain within budget? The answer is Position Control. This course will provide you with the steps needed to develop and maintain a complete list of your organization’s authorized and budgeted positions. Now all stakeholders know which positions are filled and which positions are vacant, helping leaders and managers take control of position levels in order to make budget and staffing decisions.
