What Leadership style do you find to be most successful and why?
I believe that servant leadership is the most effective approach to leading. A humble leader is quick to listen and slow to speak. These leaders not only inspire and uplift their team members, but also excel at identifying and leveraging each individual’s unique strengths. This creates a culture of growth and transparency, enabling the team to support one another and succeed collectively.
What is a challenge that you had in your career and how did you overcome it?
One challenge I face in my career is finding the boldness to voice my ideas. There were times when I felt hesitant and even trembled at the thought of speaking up, fearing judgement or rejection. Thankfully, my boss is incredibly supportive and recognizes my desire to take on more responsibility. She assigns me tasks specifically designed to build my confidence and encourages me to engage more with others. Her support has inspired me to embrace leadership opportunities and pursue training, making a significant impact on my growth.
What are your favorite ways to relieve stress and/or decompress?
When it comes to relieving stress, I really love quiet activities. Reading scripture is a big one for me; it always helps me find peace, especially when life gets a bit overwhelming. I also enjoy crafting, gardening, homesteading, and cooking. Being hands-on in the kitchen or tending to my garden helps me feel grounded and focused. I really cherish those little moments of quiet creativity. They’re great for recharging and finding balance in my life.
